I am a clinical psychologist and personal coach living in New York City with my husband of 20 years, and our 3 children. Born, raised and professionally trained in Los Angeles, I received my Ph.D. in Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles (CSPP-LA). Among the most highly regarded Ph.D. programs in psychology in the United States, CSPP-LA provided me with a strong foundation in the science of human behavior. From this foundation, I have built a professional career spanning 23 years.

During my years of clinical practice, I treated many singles looking to get married, but who had become discouraged and demoralized by the dating process. Unfortunately, to receive the support and encouragement they needed, the practice of psychotherapy required that they receive a psychiatric diagnosis. However, many were actually healthy and motivated people with real goals! I founded Focused Coaching Services in 2002, and DoctorLoveCoach.com in 2005 to provide personal and relationship coaching services that focus on empowering people who want to attain the kind of relationships and lives that they've always wanted.

I have always loved working with people, and it's very rewarding to work with healthy, creative and resourceful people who want to achieve their dreams. Some of my leisure interests are cooking, bicycle-riding, hiking, working out at the gym, and spending time with my family. We enjoy going to various museums and traveling to sites of nature.

I am a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), as well as the American Psychological Association (APA) and the New York State Psychological Association (NYSPA). I have taken coach training from Mentorcoach, which specializes in training mental health professional to capitalize on their skills and experience working with people to become effective coaches.
